Peaks Challenge has become the ultimate personal test of endurance, requiring dedication and training to complete the 235 km course with over 4,000 m of elevation gain in under 13 hours.
As the event continues to grow in popularity, many participants are now planning their trip nearly 12 months in advance to secure accommodation in Falls Creek — as close as possible to both the start… and the finish.
During the event, Falls Creek Village hosts more than 3,500 visitors. It’s an incredible achievement when you consider how our small alpine village transforms in just a matter of days, thanks to Bicycle Network and the many accommodation providers and staff who return each year to welcome cyclists and their supporters.
We understand that many people are currently finding it difficult to secure accommodation. However, much of the available accommodation is not released until the middle of the year. Falls Creek Central Reservations coordinates and books the majority of accommodation in the village, and we contact everyone on our waitlist as soon as options become available.
Please note: most accommodation providers have set a minimum 3 night stay.
